Not everyone is afraid of competition. Some see it as a way to prove that they are the right person for the job. I don't see our depth at tailback to be a big factor for the reason Lucky comes here or not.

 
I'm going to guess that he would be our one partial qualifier even if he doesn't fully qualify. Can't imagine any one higher on our proverbial "board" than him at this time. I'm certainly not going to hold that against him.

no, no links. I don't give much for links on my recruiting info because I get them from a inside person who tells me this stuff. Once again, it is early yet and he could pull a jackson and improve his act by 10 points but it isn't easy.

I've been to so many games, and since I'm not a student I have an assigned seat, I like to walk around and observe. I'm close to the field in the endzone. I love doing this kind of thing man. Husker football is my life.

Also "the Bobs" at Huskerboard told me to do it or else I get beat.

 
I am very excited about this player. I read and heard so much about him. I think we got him when the student section did that marlon lucky chant I think that got to him lol.

If that is the case, the we have him. Lucky will become a Husker. But and there's a big BUT, he has not gone on any other visits yet.

He also won't be making any decision for a couple weeks.

In a very recent article by Rossiter at Huskers Illustrated, Marlon's guardian said they were very overwhelmed by the attention, especially when everyone was saying hello to him.

I remember a couple time while Lucky was on the field watching warmups, a couple scholl kids asked for his picture. That stuff has got to stick with him.

As I said I don't think USC is out of the picture, it can't be. He is right down the road from the Univ. Plus if he has a guardian instead of parents he may feel bad about leaving, like he is abandoning him. Or he has no connection and would love to leave.

Main point folks. Lucky and his family loved the visit, but their is still plenty of time to go. But Husker Nation made an impact, we did the best we could. And I mean that.

sean callahan said today on big red wrap up that we have a very good shot. I agree with you that usc probs still has a good shot, I don't know why they wouldnt.

 
Student section chanted his name several times throughout the game. I know he heard at least once because he turned and smiled.

no.... you know what, I love it. I am the man....... Today on "The Insiders" Big Red Report.com Lucky Returns From Lincoln By Brandon Cavanaugh he wrote the following:
