7-5 is what I have said since looking at the schedule. VaTech was our one chance to go to 8-4. Not going to happen. Having Colorado at home gives us that win as long as we improve. With two more certain losses in a row, the question is will the kids keep the same fight. It appeared Saturday that they will, but the next two are going to be very ugly very quickly is my guess. Look for Missouri to be our worst loss at home, ever. Tech may get close to what they did a few years back. If that happens, we will have real problems with the rest of the season I am afraid.
We do not have the talent to compete with top 25 programs. Even the Hokie fans made comment about how slow our defense was, they felt their recievers were the weakest in the ACC, slow and less talentend than most. They got open and ran away from us at will. Missouri and Tech's are some of the best in the country.
This team will win the ones it should, except for maybe Colorado, but if we get the 7-5, I will be very happy, if we don't I will understand why we didn't.
We need to understand what we have, learn to live with it and give Bo the chance to change it withou putting extra preasure on the him and the staff. This is going to take awhile. Beating up the staff will only hurt the recruiting, and trust me, we need to do a lot better than we have so far.
As stated before, no reason to get upset, what happened is what most people out side of Big Red thought would happen. We got a little love late, but early in the season this was a certain loss by most. VaTech played their best game of the year, and we had a somewhat off day I think. We are turning the corner, but this is a big battle ship, it takes time to make that 180. Have patience.
