Redshirt Glenn??

I don't think that he should redshirt. It sounds like his injury is a chronic one that is not necessarly going to heal by just resting. (He has had all spring and summer). I think that we are going to need him this year, and that he is going to play a big part in our running game.

Wish we knew what the coaches know. I wonder how good Castille, Helu and Culbert are.

IB:

5 MARLON LUCKY**, 6-0, 210, Jr., North Hollywood, Calif.

19 Quentin Castille, 6-1, 245, Fr., LaPorte, Texas

10 Roy Helu, 6-0, 210, Fr., Danville, Calif.

6 Major Culbert*, 6-0, 210, So., Harbor City, Calif.

I think we need him to play this year, no matter how little. The likelyhood (spelling) of Lucky making it through the year is a stretch to say the least.

The youngsters may be good at running the ball, but we don't just run anymore. They need to be able to protect Keller for this team to do what it is capable of. Neither Glen nor Lucky had it down last year. Awfully hard for true freshman to pick it up this quickly. If Glen and Lucky go down our season will follow quickly I am afraid. Jackson really put us in a world of hurt.

I know the money makes them go, but there should be some loyalty to brings you to the dance.

Great!!

Rob, I will not be making it to the SC game. The boss bought a bunch of SC season tickets. I think he got 5 and it was cheaper than going to Nebraska for one game. Can't argue with him being is an SC alum. I will be spending weekends at SC games I guess. But the one positive is the Song Girls. I can watch SC just to see them. I know I am an old pervert. But even at my age you have to have dreams don't you!!!

Shawn Watson has said that Cody is 100% and will play on Saturday.

he did practice today also
I didn't see Glenn on the depth chart, does this mean he's not expected to play? If so, he's obviously not 100%. I'm starting to think that we may never get to see him fully healthy!

The depth chart is more or less a joke IMO. If they released another one today, it's probably be measurably different than it was yesterday.

Red Shirt him, 80% isnt enough.Does anyone know what the actual injury to his foot was? They never seem to actually say what the problem is. I dont know if time off would help, but it cant hurt.

I wanna say redshirt him, but he was dealing with somewhat nagging injuries during the spring game and he was still just punishing people. His yardage wasn't amazing, but man he was just hammering the defense. So I'm torn on this one. Given the durability issues of our backfield, I say keep him active.

BC stated yesterday that Cody was not put on the depth chart because he hasn't practiced as much as the other guys and its not fair to evaluate him with the guys who have been there every day.

I think he hasn't been practicing just the rest up the ankle, no use putting wear on it when it doesn't count.
