Refs?

They are just whining. There were multiple times they could have thrown flags on the Ducks and didn't. Ducks played very sloppy, and the refs called them on it.

It could have been a lot worse for Oregon.

ABC showed replays on pretty much every pass interference and holding call on Oregon, of which there were MANY. All of 'em pretty much legit, at worst some of the PIs were ticky-tack but. . .if you wrap your left arm around the receiver's hip, they're probably going to call it no matter how light the contact was.

I didn't see anything questionable towards the end. They may have received one pretty tick tacky PI call early in the game but other than that it was well officiated. I saw quite a few holds they got away with and one blatant, critical PI call they were not flagged on. They've got nothing to complain about.

Pac 12 officials have a reputation of being trigger happy with the flags. That said, I didn't notice anything that was a blatant bad call besides the offsides call on us.

The only one I'd even say ok on was the final holding call. However, the announcers said it could go either way. Clearly they took it as they got robbed. Maybe they should teach their dbs to defend without being dirty.

My new favorite play is when we hit a WR in the chest with a snap and the opponent falls on the ball but it gets called back because 3/5 of our offensive line false started.

The other guys didn't know what hit them.

It seemed that we had a lot of calls go our way. It's been a while since I witnessed that. So yea, i feel the refs spoiled us, but that's just cuz I'm so used to us getting bent over and taking it dry from the Zebras.

That was a very heads up play by the O-Line

There were a couple close calls both ways, but there were a lot more PI's that could have been called. Oregon's DB's just weren't skilled enough to cover our receivers on an island and kept grabbing them. I thought the officiating was decent, especially since the Pac12 has had some notoriously bad refs over the years.

Ha ha! Yeah, that was fortuitous. But it was a good call. The refs blew it dead, and the play should have stopped.

There were a few bad calls. The pi called on oregon on 3rd down was bogus (that led to a nebraska touchdown. The illegal substitute on 3rd down against oregon was bogus which made it 3rd and 1 instead of 3rd and 6 (the defense has the right to make a substitution when the offense does, the refs are supposed to stand on the ball) there were also a few more that went our way. If we had some of those calls against us then there would be complaining on these boards. We can't exactly call them whiners when we would be doing the same thing.
