Other Husker. I know we have a couple decent players at the position, but I think Other Husker could really make some noise next season. I heard he runs a 4.4 40.

A lot of players that I'm looking forward to seeing next year.

Randy Gregory has been impressive his first year here and he is only going to get more focused and get bigger, stronger, and faster over the course of the offseason. He's going to come back strong. More teams will know about him, and as such he might receive a few more double teams. But that's fine, because on the other side of the line we'll have....

Avery Moss. Hasn't racked up quite the stats that Gregory has, but he his and will be a good football player as well...but let's not forget...

Vincent Valentine. Dude will clog up space in the middle and if Gregory is getting double teamed, VV is going to have a chance to make a play.

But that's not all. Michael Rose is going to be a phenomenal player for us, as he was able to, on multiple occasions get to the gap and tackle the ball carrier for a minimal or even negative gain. Zaire Anderson, David Santos, and Josh Banderas are doing well as well.

LeRoy Alexander is really playing good at the safety position and will continue to grow in that position. The only area I worry about for defense next season is corner. Losing Ciante and SJB is going to be a huge loss, and I don't know if we have the people to fill that gap.

Offensively, we'll get healthy. The offensive line showed some good depth this year. Ameer will be Ameer. Imani will be Imani. And hopefully we can see some Adam Taylor and Terrell Newby as well. I'll miss Quincy and I'll miss Jake Long, but Kenny Bell, Jamal Turner, Jordan Westerkamp, Sam Burtch, and Cethan Carter should be able to cover for them just fine.

Quarterback will be the most interesting position battle next year. Johnny Stanton is going to push Tommy Armstrong, and Tommy Armstrong is going to push Johnny Stanton. With the personalities that both of those players possess, they're both going to be better as a result of that competition.

So, as crushing and disappointing as this season has been, there are a lot of good players on this team coming up.

1. Valentine.. another year and Kaz will need to muzzle him in public..for the safety of pets

2. Michael Rose..learning real fast

3. Stanton IV....gonna break Armstrong's heart

4. Moss...seems real tired of being pushed around at LOS

5. Gregory...has to take it to next level because teams will be looking out for him
