Hard work brings deserving payoff. I'm told the scholarships are for this spring for now. The 85-man count for the fall ahead not impacted.

I think it's a great idea if we haven't. Being on scholarship for even one semester would be an honor and extremely helpful. If we have the scholarships available use them

I love seeing walk-ons get scholarships, but at least wait to see how many we have left over after signing day and players transfer.

It's for Spring semester per the article I read. I could see Reimers being permanent though.

 
IMO McNitt deserves one and should be first in line for the fall. Starting FB and good special team player.

Regardless if it's for one semester or the rest of their career, it's a great honor for these players and a credit to their hard work at NU.
