Remainder of the season

It was, quite literally, everything that could go wrong. Generally lethargic play from many players, missed tackles, no pressure whatsoever on the QB (he had all day to throw), getting beat in the secondary on a regular basis, etc. Our LB and secondary weren't in the rights spots quite a few times (play action killed us again and again) and when they were they failed to make tackles. Ugh, it just went on and on.

 
Oh yeah, about that TD pass into double coverage. We actually had that covered pretty well, it was just a great throw by their QB and a nice catch. He put the ball in the only place it could go so his guy could catch it. Our coverage was tight, but the guys didn't have their hands up trying to make a play on the ball. One of them might have been able to knock it away if he did.

That's the thing..............why in gods name do they not turn around and look for the ball???

 
I'm still just happy Nebraska football is here again. The first 8 months of the year seem to take FOREVER. A tough husker season is better than no husker season, IMO.

I don't understand what has happened to Memorial Stadium and the fans that are in it!!!! It used to be such a hostile place to play and now it's just so damn quite!!! Maybe we need to kidnap all the mascots from the Big XII and sacrifice them on the 50 yard line to get the bad juju out!!!!
