Alright, I do not have a subcription to HI(so I think anyone can access this), but found this through Yahoo last night and it was ripped down due to board rules.

About 1/3 off the way down,, under 'Thursday's practice takes', it talks about what Ressing said to discredit the Blackshirts.

Our front 4 is going up against a very inexperienced O-line this week and Ressing is throwing up bulletin board material, probably not his best move....

Until I read a quote from Reesing dissing the Blackshirts, I'm going to chalk this up to Rivals trying to spin a comment to sell me a subscription. Reesing isn't an idiot, and he knows what he's up against. I doubt seriously that he would spout off about Suh and Co. like this implies he did.

He's probably just trying to find ways for people to come out and watch the game, given that everybody has started to turn their attention to basketball season.

Reesing is also probably just pissed that we beat Oklahoma, and Oklahoma ended up dominating them.

That's the first thing I thought too. I'm very tired of the media trying to drum up controversy just to sell a story.

I don't have a link that you can read, but if you go to 1620thezone.com, and on the right side of the screen, there's the podcast of unsportsmanlike conduct. I could be wrong, but I think it was segment 8 where they interviewed a KU media member and that is where it was mentioned. If that is not the segment, you might have to try others.

They mentioned it on USC yesterday on 1620. He basically said that the Huskers D is playing well, but that he is much more experienced than any QB the Blackshirts have faced in the Big XII this year. While true, he is basically saying to Suh and Co, "Yo Blackshirts, You can't touch this! I've Got Skills!"

I might go listen to it in a bit. It's odd he says stuff like that... we sacked him four times last year with a better O Line in front of him and (statistically) a worse D Line opposing him.

I don't know if we'll throw any blitzes at him like we did against Jones, but if we do, don't be surprised to see a Reesing-shaped smear across Memorial Stadium's rug. Dude is not sound in the groin, and that's going to make running for his life a lot more difficult.
