Restore the Order T-shirts

Yup.
The order hasn't completely been restored yet. Like Taylor said, it started on CU's home turf.
:yeah

Finishing tied for second in the North is not the "order" that I prefer. :thumbs

:restore2
Agree...I also saw a shirt on tv yesterday that said .."Order Restored".

I don't it's been restored. It's on it's way, but not close to being "restored"

Saw the same thing. I would definitely skip that one. I could dig one of the restore the order shirts..

I believe at the beginning of the season everyone was just asking for improvement... and in the middle of the season when NU was struggling, once again, the complainers (ff-Benard) were asking for improvement....

Wait..... 7-4, tied for 2nd in the North....Alamo Bowl vs No Bowl.....passing records vs turnover records....... Nation leading sacks and tackles for losses vs no D-line....

Huh, can't figure it out.....SOUNDS LIKE IMPROVEMENT :WTH

It is funny that you ask for improvement, but then when it gets here, some people find something else to complain about....

No, order is NOT restored, but it very well could be on the way...... if you read what the shirt says... it does NOT say that the job is complete yet.......

I am satisfied with the results this year (improvement).... but as KC said, now we need to keep moving forward

I guess that the CU game made you totally forget the other 10 bad games that NU played this year. I was hoping for total improvement in quality of play, along with wins. If NU was beating teams decisively during those 7 wins, I would agree with you. Alot of the stats actually got worse.

I guess that 10 bad games are better than 11 bad games, theres your improvement

I dont consider the Tech game, with an inexperience Oline and a first year qaurterback to be a bad game. The 10-3 team in 03 would have lost that game too. I dont consider the Wake Forest game, which everyone said was a trap game, and which the 10-3 team from 03 wouldnt have won that handily, a bad game. That would make 3 good games this year, compared to 1 last year, which was against Maine. Yes, that is improvement. Tremedous Defensive improvement, and slight offensive improvement. Oh, special teams would be in the tremendous category as well.

Its a loss, its not a good game. The last "good loss" NU had was the 94 Orange Bowl.

The 10-3 team in 03 would have lost that game too.
Pure speculation. If you want to specluate, I speculate that if Pelini, Cotton and the NU boys were back, NU would have been 9-3 last year, 11-1 right now going to the Cotton Bowl. Fun isnt it :thumbs

Really, the O had 1 TD, and under 300 yds of O if I remember correctly. I dont consider that good.

NU played Maine last year  ??????

I posted the stats on a previous thread. D improved by something like 40 YPG, 6 PPG. The O got slightly worse in both categories. The special teams was similar too, had no improvement in KR, slight improvement in KO coverage, nice improvement in PR, but regressed in PR coverage. The also had more penalty yardage in 05 than 04. All of that with a weaker schedule. Not much of an improvement.

You're just not going to comment on all the blocked kicks then?

All last year you were all about 5-6, 5-6, 5-6, 5-6. Now that it's harder to harp on the overall wins and losses, you harp on anything else. Whatever. It's obvious that this team or any Callahan lead NU team can really can't do anything to get a nod from you without it being paired with a detraction of some sort. Whatever floats your boat, I guess..

Anyway, back to the topic, has anyone actually ordered these shirts yet?

Yeah Dave, I did. I am not home right now, but my wife got the package on Monday.

I can imagine they are pretty nice. I bought two and it cost me around 40 bucks; which included shipping.

I'll be sure to wear one on my way to Cali in Feb. Coincidentally, my trip takes me through Colorado. :o I usually stay with my grandparents for a couple of days to visit, so I'll be sure to go out on town with my shirt on. :thumbs

Awesome. 40 bucks is kinda steep for two though. I wonder if I could pick one up locally...

Well I got home last night and opened my package with the shirts in them this morning.

They are authentic. They read "Restore the Order" on the front, with the Adidas emblem on the back. The exact same ones used by the players after the CU game. I'll have to sport it around Lincoln while I am back for the next week and a half.

Then wear in in Florida and see how many of those rednecks give me the "deer in the headlight" stare as I pass by.

Fooking GO BIG RED!

:power :restore2
