Rex vs. Suh

Suh nails him. 100 times out of 100. Because it's in a gap. You'd need a gap about 15 feet wide to give Burkhead a reasonable chance. And gaps like that only exist in the dreams of slumbering offensive lineman (--and the nightmares of D-linemen). lol

re the Rex highlight vid: His TD at 4:27 and the toss sweep at 4:12 are just about as good of runs as Rex's awesome TD at 3:30. Also, you notice how Rex's runs seem to get better as the game goes on? Conditioning? Figuring out their D schemes? Probably a little of both.

Suh would have pasted Jack Hoffman.
They're on the same team!

Rex, with out a doubt. He will continue to do things in the best interest of the Huskers for as long as he lives. I really do not think the situation will ever happen, as much as I like him, I do not see him making it. Great kid, great effort, but lacks the speed to be an NFL back I think.

Suh, I wish he would get his head on straight. I actually bought a Lions jersey, the first one in my life, and I have never worn it. He could be so good for this program, I know he has donated a lot of money. But he is out of control at times. I have never met him, but have heard stories about his attitude. If you can not say something good, say nothing, I guess that fits this story.

I do hope he gets his stuff in line, and becomes one of the greats of the NFL. He has the skills, can he develop the attitude and the switch to turn it on and off.

Suh would completely devour Rex. Heart only gets you so far when the guy across the line is twice your size and is just as quick as you at the line of scrimmage. Momentum and the laws of physics win this match-up.

It seems some have missed the idea of the poll. Who do you want to win the battle, not who would win the battle. Rex is not an elite running back. If he makes it, he will be mid pack at best I think. You are talking about one of the best Dlinemen to ever play the game, or should be.

Rex begins to put his head down as if he is going to drive right through Suh for the TD. Suh completely bites on it and ducks his head to go low and take Rex down. Suddenly though, Rex straightens back up, and in as if aided by the wings of angels, hurdles directly over Suh's head. Suh never even touches him. Rex lands in the endzone feet first, and the angels slowly set him back down, pat him on the back and say "Good work my son". Rex looks up to the sky thanks the Lord, and God opens the clouds briefly just to wink at Rex, then fades away.

Suh, with his inner devil awakened, then completely demolishes Rex, resulting in a 15 yard penalty, ejection, fine, and more ripping by ESPN on Suh, Bo, and Nebraska. The good thing that Rex did is completely forgotten. Damned ESPN.

Suh is an absolute beast but I wouldn't bet against Rex after watching him make guys miss over and over again. He has to hold the record for missed/broken tackles behind the line. Unfortunately he's had a lot of practice.

+1 I think Rex wins this battle more often than not.

I'm saying Rex would win that battle..................................I partially say that because Suh can't seem to pull his head out of his arse and isn't the same guy on the field in the NFL that he was here. He's way dirty in the NFL........I also say that because I think Rex would juke the hell out of him.

Oh great. So now this thread is about to take a turn into into a debate as to whether Suh is a dirty player or not.

Who I would like to see win, Rex. Who will most likely win, Suh. I would take Suh stopping him 8/10 times, one on one.
