We're acting like it's his choice to make. I doubt PSU wants him.

I think he's using this golden opportunity as a platform for more NIL money for US. No way he wants to stack his enemy with weapons.

I think Rhule will have his guys locked in. I'm more concerned about how the back-to-back travel weeks and the short week may impact their play than I am Penn St.'s opening. But, you raise a fair point - you're only as good as your next game.

This is interesting/fun message board fodder but it doesn't actually matter to their season. One thing I appreciate about Rhule is that he really dials in on the psychological aspect of sports and wants his guys to embrace this kind of stuff and not run away from it. If you want to play big boy D1 football then you have to be able to handle the pressures of it, whether it's tough losses, being ranked/unranked, big games, your coach on the hot seat, your coach taking a new job, etc. There will always be distractions and adversity but what matters most is how you respond.

If he's that confident about his opinion, I'd be interested in him stating who he thinks NU will then get (or go after).
