Did I move it? My bad, if so -- probably didn't even notice it was in the woodshed, whatever it was.

The guy that feels the need to call a message board poster who disagrees with him "emo", or to use the name "Pederhorst" for our AD, or types four "HA"s in capital letters and slaps on three ???s at the end for good measure ... doesn't base his thoughts on emotion?

Fans have passion. There's nothing wrong with it really, but how it's expressed varies.
I didn't say I don't show emotion or that I don't have emotions. I just don't use them to formulate my opinions or stances on various subjects.

I'll give you a better illustration. Abortion and Gun Rights. Two highly charged issues. Let's look at the conservative stance. On abortion, conservatives are typically emos. ("They're murdering babbys!") But on gun control, they are very rational and logical. The 2nd amendment makes it clear that our right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

Liberals are the opposite. On abortion, they are rational and logical. Roe v Wade guaranteed a woman's right to privacy. It's between her and her doctor and no one has a right to interfere with her decisions until the fetus is potentially viable outside the womb. But on gun control, it's all emotion. ("How many 1st graders in body bags before we have sensible gun laws?!?!?")

So, most people are emo on some issues, but not all issues. I happen to be emo on zero issues.
No, but you're pretty good at trying to lie. You're posting on here because you're disappointed, upset, frustrated, or perhaps even vindicated about the Riley hire. Those are all emotions, emotions which you use to drive your post.

Holy Crap, I almost pissed myself I laughed so hard!

Of course, I didn't really laugh, I'm too emo to know what laughter is.

Wear your skinny jeans and play on your iPhone6's, you wouldn't know what true happiness is. Only death and despair can truly make you see what suffering an life is....conformists.

Again, "I didn't say I don't show emotion or that I don't have emotions." I freely admit I post with emotion. In fact, I can get emotional ABOUT my own opinions. I just don't use emotion to arrive at my opinions.

The Riley hire was horrible. If Riley was 5-0 with a 30 point avg. margin of victory and a top ten ranking, I would say, "Wow. That was clearly contraindicated by all available evidence at the time of hire. I guess I'll have to change my opinion on the Riley hire and adjust my parameters for similar situations in the future."

And then I would be all "WOOT!!! GBR!!! WE'RE #1!!!"

BTW, changing your mind is not a hallmark of people who arrive at their opinions through emotion.

He wont win a game because he is such a nice guy!

Hellalotta real here.

I am not emo, but I am a supporter of the coaching staff at Nebraska. I am pissed and disappointed, but I still support them.
I may be Emo...at least when we would go through our schedule undefeated and then found ways to lose to Switzer and then the obligatory Florida Orange Bowl team in the mid 70s...

But I've seemed to have forgotten what is meant by ''support"...I HOPE this hire works out for the best, but I also was lamenting the hire when a couple of Mechicken fans at work asked me what our problem is.

I'm not ashamed to admit I fell for the idea that Riley could win with more better players...But I've seen so many bonehead calls that you'd expect Rookie coaches to make making me wonder if this is the best he and his staff will ever get....And..who besides someone with an NFL caliber QB tries to focus your offense on Passing in the windy plains?

I realize,,,They Should get better with better recruiting and hopefully fewer injuries, but I don't see this staff ever getting better than winning 70% of their games...Probably 55% in the 3 years before his forced retirement..Which brings me back to another initial thought...Given Riley's age, was this Pederhorst's (I like that word) evil plan just to keep the seat warm long enough for Frosty to get the required experience (in a majority of the fan's minds) to try to get here?
