NFL folks are pretty dumb when it comes to hiring coaches. This makes lots of sense. Not sure who a person picks up as a coach this late in the game unless you throw lots of money at someone.

Sometimes I think that applies to GM's as well. The Colts GM sounds unprepared, uneducated and under qualified when he speaks in public, along with other questionable things. On a different note, I would be shocked if Riley goes anywhere.

I think the chances of MR going to the Saints is very low, but what is the best option for replacing a coach who goes to the NFL in late January or February?

There is no way Chip Kelly would ever come to Nebraska. He is also wanting to stay in the NFL.

Although many would like to see Riley leave, now would be the absolute worse time for that to happen.
