Another bullshat post by another butt hurt former fan. Your deductions of A caused B which led to C are another attempt to throw shat on the wall and hope something sticks.
I know him and he is not "butt hurt" over Bo...Very few fans are.Another bullshat post by another butt hurt former fan. Your deductions of A caused B which led to C are another attempt to throw shat on the wall and hope something sticks.

As opposed to what? Suggesting Mike Riley turned down offers through out the years to USC and Alabama in some plot to pad his pockets when the perfect team came along? Again, fan fiction.Bury your head deeper in the sand... you'll feel safer there.I'm glad to see we've taken to fan fiction writing; it's a healthy outlet.
I'm guessing you don't recall the times when Osborne's teams struggled to move the ball with the run game against Bowl quality opponents. And since our quarterbacks of the time rode the struggle bus when it came to passing the ball, defenses just loaded the box. In order for your smash mouth football to work, you also have to have a credible passing threat.Run the ballAll you need is a QB who can see more than one receiver across the field, and make a 'high percentage' pass.
Oh the horror if Riley's teams only struggled to run the ball against a quality opponent.I'm guessing you don't recall the times when Osborne's teams struggled to move the ball with the run game against Bowl quality opponents. Great post, not sure how nobody realizes this. Let's give some credit where credit is due, not any warm body can win nine games at Nebraska. But it takes a special kind of bad to lose 7 games in the B10 West. Like Illinois and Purdue bad. And we lost to both of those teams. Someone please look at the 2016 schedule and tell me how we don't lose at least 5 games best case.I gotta ask...Continue to get stronger and work on their bodies so they are not tubs of goo like the last S&C staff put out.Isn't he gone though? And that worked out pretty well didn't it. Another off season in the weightroom and a little more coaching and they will be ready to take over. But why didn't we see these up and coming talent play this year? Cav selected his guys to start and stood by them the entire year. The only change he did make was put Sterup at guard at the end of the year. The offensive line may be better next year. In fact, likely will be. We have some dead weight graduating and some coachable talent coming up.
Also...what are they going to do differently in the weight room?
The last staff had horrible coaches (correct)
They had horrible players (Correct)
And they were tubs of goo (Correct)
How did they win games?
Radar often makes uneducated posts I've found.Isn't he gone though? And that worked out pretty well didn't it. Yet they managed to win 70% of their games between the Callahan eras. Our quarterbacks aren't suitable for any system, at the FBS level at least.

I'm sorry... As a Husker fan of the 80's and 90's.... WHAT?Sker, you can't run the ball, if you don't have at least SOME respect for the passing game. Our opponents have none.
Because you've had your head buried in the sand you wouldn't know these things, which is why a person should not burry their head in the sand in the first place.Again none of the above supports the ridiculous claim this was a money grab by Riley. You seem to be confusing justification of a questionable hire for actually countering my point. As opposed to what? Suggesting Mike Riley turned down offers through out the years to USC and Alabama in some plot to pad his pockets when the perfect team came along? Again, fan fiction.Bury your head deeper in the sand... you'll feel safer there.I'm glad to see we've taken to fan fiction writing; it's a healthy outlet.Riley's record the last five years before he came to Nebraska was: 29 wins - 33 losses. And he had 3 losing seasons in his last 5 years there. And he did that with his own recruits. As opposed to what? So what does Nebraska do? They hire him to be our head coach, double his salary to 2.7 - 3 million a year and give him a way too long contract.
What do we get in return? A losing season and a years worth of fourth and 1 on the 19 with the game on the line... and game mismanagement.
Burry your head back in the sand but try going a little deeper this time. You will feel safer in the dark.
Or a decent offensive lineSker, you can't run the ball, if you don't have at least SOME respect for the passing game. Our opponents have none.
