Ten years ago today, Jake Young was killed in the horrific Bali nightclub bombings. For those who were too young to remember Mr. Young, he was the first true freshman offensive lineman to letter at NU. He ended up being a two-time All-American Center as well as a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-American. He went on to become a lawyer, getting his law degree from UNL. He also has a Memorial Scholarship named after him. For those wondering, Jake was with his Rugby team in Bali, Indonesia at the time of his death.

RIP Jake. Not as hard to take as Brooke but still a young man who was called home to Heaven all too soon.
