RIP Jimmy Carter

This is just MY worthless guess but Carter seemed like the kind of guy that would have wanted the flag to be raised for the new president.  Carter, if nothing else, seemed like a very kind, nice, humble and polite person.

Speaking strictly for myself, it gets tiring being this angry and this sad. Very tempting to check out. 

I envy the Trump voters who will look out at the same nation we had under Joe Biden and suddenly declare it sunshine and roses.

While still maintaining their rage at Democrats, of course.

Yep. I detest and hate Trump as much as anyone but even I think raising the flag for one day of the inauguration makes complete sense. And I also get a weird sense of joy over how much it actually means to Mr. small d!(k energy new pres.

 
Running errands in Lincoln today, it was interesting seeing so many flags at half-staff. Rough guesstimate, about 60% of the flags I saw were at half-staff, the rest were up.

I also found it interesting seeing flags in places where I don't typically see flags. The two I noticed were at half-staff.

Same!  I noticed that yesterday and today here in Omaha.
