RIP Satellite camps - Back from the Dead (4/28/16)

I've got an easy solution. The teams that voted for the ban don't get to participate in satellite camps. The teams voted against the ban can keep holding the camps. Everyone gets to play on the field they want that way. Amirite?

No I think we should force Saban to hold a clinic in Valentine, Nebraska.

I'm no poly sci major, but that doesn't seem like a very wise way of having a vote (unless you are try to game it and get the results you want).
the conference reps from the pac12, mountain west, and sunbelt all voted against their league wishes. when 1 person does it you can blame it on a mistake. when 3 do it....well....it does look fishy.
This lays out why Guerrero did what he did http://www.si.com/college-football/2016/04/20/satellite-camp-ban-pac-12-dan-guerrero-ucla-ad
i wonder who was telling these guys that voting for their conference wishes wasn't in their best interest? they managed to convince the reps from 3 conferences that they were going to lose....AND that they should vote against their conference wishes? those guys were hired to rep their conference...and instead they voted against their conference wishes. something seems wrong with that. but hey......what do i know?
Corruption... has taken over... and now has a stranglehold on the governing organization of college football.

What do you have against Valentine?
Nothing. Was just trying to think of a place filled with lots of good football recruits who want to play for Alabama.

the satellite camps might be rising from the dead? not sure if we should be excited or if we should be scared about saban setting up a camp in lincoln or omaha

Technically, they weren't dead yet because they had to go through the NCAA board of director's later this week. However, with all the news of the Pac 12 and Sunbelt screwing up their votes, and the grumbling from coaches who said they weren't consulted or ignored, I had a feeling it might get overturned. With this news, I'd think it's nearly a lock to be overturned one way or the other.

Let him. It would probably hurt Iowa more than us anyway, might even open the door for us to take some of his croots.

Wow - NCAA deals with how much $$$ and can't see 3 steps in front of themselves before they make a dumb decision like this.

They'll probably return now with the DOJ sniffing around.

Saban to camp in NE? Seems an unlikely strategery.
