RIP Satellite camps - Back from the Dead (4/28/16)

This is a perfect example of why it's important for people who care about something... to speak out and write their opinions in public forums including "chat boards" and social media.

This was a corrupt decision and the public reaction to it was critical in stopping it.

The NCAA had to do this because they knew they had exposed themselves as being corrupt.

If this was actually the case, where the SEC approved it during the summer meetings of 2015, their whole argument over the last year that they weren't able to is bullsh#t. f#*k 'em.

Seriously though when the justice department shows up, those doing back room deals in their ivory tower start to piss themselves.

Then there was the PAC-12 rep who voted against the wishes of PAC-12, the whole thing stank like sec recruiting.

Still makes me wonder with all those visits Jim has made to the White House lately, maybe he has a few friends there as well, hate him or not, he is one energetic and charismatic sob and one of the great assets to the conference.

As a 49er fan, I am formally asking for our head coach back. My god we miss him as we are back to the dark ages Mike Nowin and Mike Singletard without him.

I realize that Harbaugh is flamboyantly high-profile, but let's not give him the credit for inventing satellite camps. I don't know what coach first thought of it, but I'm pretty sure Riley was one of the first.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

First-year Husker coach Mike Riley was one of the first to get into satellite camps while he was at Oregon State, including a visit from his staff to a Los Angeles camp three years ago attended by several prospects who ultimately signed with the Beavers.

I feel like this worked out perfect. Satellite camps banned, they felt bad about banning them and gave us parents on OV, then gave back Sattys!
