Rivals just announced its 5 star recruits for '06. Of the 27 5 star recruits, the Huskers have offers out to 8 who have not yet committed. (2 S, 2 DTs, 1 RB, 1 WR, 1 QB, and 1 OL).

Rivals Five-Star Recruits 2005-2006

USC and Oklahoma listed as favorites way too many times! That's okay though, because we'll get ours and their isn't enough room at those schools for all that talent. It'll happen for the Huskers in coming years....you watch and see!

Texas already has 5 of the top 100 COMMITTED! Dang that's rough.

On a side note, Husker verbal commit DJ Jones was a pre-eval top-100 member, but it's funny once he commits to the Huskers he's not on the initial list. Some think rivals has a bias against Husker recruits. I say F@*# rivals, I'll leave it up to the coaches to evaluate the talent, they seemed to do a pretty good job with the players coming in this year, and the 5 JUCO's all seemed to be pretty good in the spring.
