Rob Aurich Hired as Defensive Coordinator

That waterboy has turned out to be a damn good coach.
I'll still say that the hire then, was to get the ties to TX football. Same with Wagener. I think when he hired McGuire, he was too young and NU was a dumpster fire. Compare that to TT and your dad as HC, helped him to a degree.

Didn't know Rhule hired Joey as TE coach in 2017 at Baylor. Had a great record as a HS coach and has done well at TT. Recent oil $ infusion helped, but Joey is a solid coach. Garrett appears to be getting some accolades as well.

Not Aurich related but I think Rhule has been fighting with one hand behind his back being forced to keep rolling Donnie out there as his OLine coach. Now that he’s gone I hope we can see some real progress
It'll never come out and I think it "probably shouldn't", but I'd still love to hear the thought process behind keeping that guy on staff.

Even in a thread about our defensive coordinator, many (if not most) Husker fans believe that if we’re not winning as many games as they think we should, the primary blame lies on the offensive line.

Amazing.

Assumption! I read a post about a coach that was here because of his nephew. You take it as its the o-lines fault for losing!

Amazing.
