Agreed. Huskers played a tough early non-con and the pitching held up pretty well for the most part. They have the arms to compete, need the young bats to keep improving. 

 
Most recent projections. We get the 3rd overall seed Mississippi State. We'd be the 2 seed, 3 seed Louisiana Tech, 4 seed Alabama State.

Also in the Lubbock regional, Creighton AND Omaha are set to be in the same regional.

I see what you did there lol, Arizona State (home series in two weeks) has a chance to be a Q1 quadrant win so need to pull that off, and then Michigan is 53 currently in rpi
This means nothing right now, if we do not figure out the bats.  The Big 10 is a weak conference and will only get 3 teams in the tournament.   This coming series is big, as we need to build some confidence to finish out the season.

Frankly, if we can't get the bats to come alive at Northwestern, they need to leave the hitting coach in Chicago and let him find his own way home.
