Running gameplan flawed vs USC

First I think Coach Callahan is a very smart man. Yet it may be his philosophy that is flawed. I will grant that having a primarily running attack against USC may have been the way to go. But why handicap the offense by not having the second leading rusher Cody Glenn in the mix? I don't buy into the doghouse theory. Otherwise Glenn would not have seen the field at all. I believe that Coach Callahan was holding Glenn in his back pocket for the sole purpose of using him as a decoy as he did if they got down to the goal line.

We will have to see in the coming weeks where Coach Callahan chooses to take this team.

What about making adjustments?? When the running game was getting shut down and USC pretty much had 11 players at the line of scrimmage, why not go over the top to Purify or something? :dunno

2 great questions.......only cally knows the answers....i bet he will get grilled at the qb club on monday........some of his better players never got the ball, no touches
