Given the fact that Frost has said that University officials will be involved in any punishment, I think Mo will be suspended for the first game, with the hope that the charges will be resolved at the next hearing next week. If there isn't a resolution next week, I think the appropriate decision is to reinstate Mo until there is a resolution with the case. I know the charges against Mo are quite serious, but the University and team can say "we have punished Mo based on the current status of the trial and his conduct, we think it's fair that he is able to rejoin the team until his charges are resolved."I think that’s a highly unlikely scenario, and “wrongly charged” and “trumped up charges” aren’t a matter of fact, but opinion.
I think it’s best for all parties involved if he sits (while remaining on the team) until the case is closed. It protects the optics on the program, staff and the person and maybe even delivers a lesson about having things like that on your phone
