There were 71 names listed on the first depth chart of the season and it was littered with names of underclassmen, 38 of them to be exact. Of the 38 underclassmen 11 are true freshmen, nine are redshirt freshmen and 18 are listed as sophomores.
The offense is by far the youngest side of the ball as every single position has at least one underclassmen listed on the depth chart. That includes Wan'Dale Robinson as a starter at wide receiver.
