Why would a Nebraska staff that just took over and are behind other programs in recruiting for this cycle with roughly 3 weeks to finish out the class and need 6-7 more commits...be slow playing a player like this?

I don't know how comfortable the staff is going to be oversigning with not knowing the team.  Frost put the number at 20 and with the NFL announcements I believe that is where the number currently sits.  Because of the above, I think there are higher priorities - OL, DE, RB/WR hybrid, a true CB.

This kid has been on the radar for way too long.  We aren't slow playing him.  In fact, just the opposite.  I think he may be near the top of the list.

 
I don't think we're slow-playing him.  And he seems to be really set on Nebraska.  So I would say there is something else holding up the process.  Clouse just hinted at the same.

 
A Texas Tech insider gave out a CB for Jones to head to Tech. Could be nothing but with Henry being our back up plan at RB it should be something to watch out for

 
Gut pick and nothing more. Will change it back to N if Cam doesn't visit Lubbock next week.
