I remember reading something about how much of a greater role sports play in our lives from ages like 12-14. If he was following Bo at DONU at that time, then those would be the years he 'grew up' loving the Huskers. It's also why I have a hard time trying to win conference titles, because those years of my life were all about the national picture.

 
Sounds like Tennessee, Ole Miss, Penn State, Utah, Indiana, Oregon and us are his main group at the moment.

Going to talk more with Bussey - been playing football with him since 7th grade - when he's done with baseball.

 
The part at the top where it mentions he doesnt get caught out of position is what makes me want his committment more than anything. We need a smart player like that in the secondary. Hope we land him.

 
Fisher stopped by his school while he was in the area even though Dale was gone playing baseball. Fisher and Warren are in frequent contact with him as are Kendall Bussey and Avery Anderson. Having Bussey on board is a big help.

 
Saw on twitter that one of our recruits said that he is leaning N and Husker Nation needs to show him some love. It would be a huge get to really dig our roots deep down in Louisiana.

 
Hunter could be a part of a great Husker secondary and I hope he pulls the trigger to join Big Red. The advantage a D line and Lb's have when the Dbs can lock down receivers is crazy. The pressure they can put on Qb's can cause them to either throw the ball away or better yet make bad throws that result in interceptions. Lets do this.
