???s' on NU players leaving

Of the players that left NU early (for the draft) over the years are there any that you can say "good call"? None of the guys that left were sure fire high picks. Ahman Green looks awesome now, but he wasn't drafted that high, and his first couple years in the league were a wash. Derek Brown? Calvin Jones? Fonoti certainly had the body to go pro early, but has really struggled with personal problems his first couple years in the NFL- was he mature enough?

 
I agree with you there. Raiola struggled for a while because he is one of the smallest centers in the NFL. Who knows, some kids just can't wait. Sometimes it's not a matter of being ready to play in the league, it's if an NFL owner is willing to fork out cash for the kid to play for them.

 
I would say that Johnnie Mitchell was the biggest bust. He had loads of potential that he never found in the pros.
