I swear to god I hate the safe punt return, which seems to be our only punt return. It is the ugliest, most dysfunctional chicken crap way to field a punt ever. Also Westercamp needs to learn to fair catch!

 
They scored a td off it, I'd say it hurt pretty bad dude, especially in a tight game... what kind of argument is that? And last week they scored a field goal off the same thing, and the week before and all season it has cost us yardage. It's a joke! And a terrible use of a potential game changing play, it puts us on the defensive and gives the game changing opportunity away to the other team.

Why the hell did he even try to field the ball? Wind behind their punter and he hits a line drive, it is not going to have backspin in that situation.

Last drive, Abdullah gets the first down, takes himself out and we have no plays to try and run the last 1:20 off the clock? We need some of these other running backs to step up when given the chance. Abdullah can't play every down.

Abdullah also can't play 3 straight downs either (tad bit of exaggeration). That kid should have stayed on until the drive was done and over with. Newby has ball security issues, and Cross has absolutely no field vision. At this point, Adam Taylor has a GREAT chance in taking the #2 spot next year. I honestly think we should be giving King Frazier some playing time. At this point, I would think he can provide more than Cross.

Your right though, after Westy called off that punt, he should have never tried to be a hero and get the ball after it bounced. This is something he will learn.

The lost potential yardage, and the forfeiture of a game changing play to the other team is a BAD STRATEGY period.
