As much as I'd like to see him go to GB and learn under Favre, it ain't gonna happen. They have Aaron Rogers from a couple years ago ready to take the reins, and Craig Nall as a dependable 3rd stringer.

That aside, I hope that Sam tears it up in the all-star games and combine and gets a chance to be a 2nd or 3rd rounder. His predisposition to throwing INT's may hurt him though.

Does anyone know how Keller did in the Hula Bowl last Saturday? It wasn't televised, and I haven't seen much in the news about it.

I think he was added to the team late, maybe they just needed to fill a spot and he was available.

Here's hoping the Vikings snag him in the 3rd round or so as an alternative to Tarvaris Jackson.

I believe he's got the size and the passing ability for the NFL, depending on the team, but for the writer to describe him as "athletic" is strange. That is one thing he isn't. He is about as good of a runner as Zac Taylor. Athletic?

Sam Keller

Nebraska's Sam Keller was perhaps the most animated of the Shrine Game quarterback's Monday. Before his first snap, he drew a laugh from coaches and the defense when he asked if the drills, run in shorts and without pads, were to be run at full speed.

Callahan sucked the life out of everyone at Nebraska...I wish Keller the best, he did a good job under the circumstances. Would be great to see him come thru and be playing on Sundays someday, but probably not anytime soon.
