Oh god, don't even talk about that guy. How many PATs did he miss? More than you can count on a hand or two as I recall
lost some fingers in a blender accident, eh?

he missed more than any kicker in Div1 should probably miss but- more than one hand to count?
he missed 3 missed PAT's in 3 seasons at NU, which doesn't sound too bad but of course he wasn't the full-time kicker.
He missed a couple very short FGs early in 2003(?) and was benched the rest of the season as i recall.

2/6 from 30+ in his last two years at NU, 2/9 over all four years. :bang
So the CFL is where the guy that is beat out by Dyches who was beat out by Congdon ends up? At least he is still playing.
hey, go ahead and make fun of the CFL all you want but frankly its pretty pointless with a kicker considering the uprights are exactly the same size and consistantly nailing 40-50 yarders is impressive for any league.
the guy that was "beat out by Dyches" couldn't hit 30-yarders consistantly- but post-NU he's practically automatic even from long range. there's no good explanation for it, but there it is.
I wasn't the biggest Sandro fan when he was here but now i have to guy his due.
he has some interesting celebrations... earlier this year he had another last-second game winner. after the kick went through the uprights he ran like hell straight into the locker room.
Eric Crouch was in CFL news not so long ago. I don't have a link handy, but the third-stringer QB for the Toronto Argonauts got a chance to start when the two guys in front of him went down. He went 4-9 I believe, and threw a 90-yard pass en route to a victory. Imagine that.
and then he ended up getting injured the next week... all three of their QBs are down so apparently they are temporarily bringing in a former Argo QB-- Michael Bishop
FWIW, others in the CFL--
Keyuo Craver and Kabongo are both in Edmonton. Both were starters last i saw- Craver in the secondary and Kabongo on the offensive line.
Diedrick was with Edmonton but they rarely used him and eventually cut him from the roster a couple weeks ago. shortly thereafter he was signed by Montreal. In fact he was returning Sandro's kickoffs in this last game.
Barron Miles is with the BC lions. he leads the league in interceptions.
