School fined $10k by conference

I think it would be a great idea for Bo to have a sit down with the BIG official heads to see if they can work out a way to repair the relationship. We got the short end of more than our fair share of calls this year and its not an accident. I fBo offers to be more civilwith the zebras that would go a long wayme thinks.

 
Oh, well. Wouldn't surprise me if the refs in the PSU game each made more than that. B1G officiating is a joke. Having double-secret officiating reviews doesn't help the case.

 
Bo has some work to do to catch up to John Cook. Cooker's been reprimanded under Big Ten Conference Agreement 10.01 twice.

Bo's only gotten it once.

If officials could be influenced by sitting down to "work out a way to repair the relationship" then they have no business being officials in the first place. It smacks of tampering and they are supposed to be completely impartial to begin with.

I wouldn't argue with that...in a world where Bo or officials would think it was necessary, let alone actually do it.

They are impartial only in theory. In reality they are not.

10k is a small amount to pay to let the officials know it was a chicken crap call and bogus as he##. I am only sorry it cost us a penalty prior to the fine. The officiating thus far has been pretty poor IMO.

 
I can not believe this has gotten so blown out of proportion. I didn't even think this was a big deal when it happened and didn't think it deserved a penalty.

 
Well, he was close enough when me made the motion that the ref flinched a little. You're gonna get called for that every time, no matter what his intent was.
