We all know UCF cant compete money wise with Nebraska on the offer. I think at this point the decision is more than just about the money.

Frost is going to be in a tough spot. He has an undefeated season to achieve, a conference championship game to prepare and coach in in a few days, yet he has the fate of two programs waiting on his decision. Two programs that I am sure Frost has the utmost respect for.

If he chooses Nebraska, you'd think he would want to let UCF know as soon as possible so they could get started on their coaching search to replace him.

If he chooses UCF, you'd think he would let Nebraska know so they could get started on moving on to other options.

With all the coaching moves being decided at a super fast pace right now, all the available coaches are getting hired and it will be slim pickings in a week. This early signing period has really changed the game.

So be it Nebraska or UCF, one of these programs needs an answer to get started on their future.

So then NU counters with more.  That was hard.
No, it was impossible.  He is getting 10% more from UCF period.  UCF has one major bargaining advantage over NU - time is on their side.  They can wait much longer than we can.  If we offer 35 million over 7 years, they will offer 38.5 over 7 years.   To say they can't compete money wise may not be true.  They are located in middle of the most valuable and lucratice and traveled destination on the planet.   Millions of people a year spend many billions in Orlando area on Disney and the other 35 parks and thousands of other attractions.   The UCF program will grow exponentially under a big time coach (assuming they believe Frost is that good - they may not but apparently NU fans think so).
