Scott Shanle - Do my eyes deceive me?

Watching the NO v ATL game in the waning, rather boring, last minutes of MNF tonight and I see this HUGE hit put on Michael Jenkins of ATL...guy rolls over after crushing Jenkins and his name is Shanle...I say "no f'ing way" and they say Scott Shanle and sure enough I am blown away.

1. Had no idea Shanle was playing professional ball

2. Had no idea he could bring the wood like he did to Jenkins the the 4th quarter of MNF tonight

:dunno

Scott's been playing pro ball for awhile. Are you sure you aren't thinking of Andrew Shanle? Our Free safety (or was he strong?) last year?

Wow, you don't watch much football do you? :bang

You are thinking of Andrew; the same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago. I thought I was going to puke when I first heard the name.

Dude, Shanle is not only laying the wood but starting while doing it. He played for the Cowboys for a while then went to the Saints to start. Why I don't know. I never thought he was good even at Nebraska <_<

When Peyton left Dallas to be the HC for the Saints, he wanted Scott Shanle there with him, and Parcells allowed it to happen.

When Dallas picked him up, he was more of a practice squad guy. But soon enough they couldn't keep him off the field in games. He plays hard all the time man. He's represented very well. I wish he was still with the Cowboys.

His brother on the other, bless his heart, is prolly sitting down somewhere right now figuring out the rubix cube.
