Sean Fisher?

Probably not in the mix against the spread - lots of nickel package out there today. When we're back to the regular 4-3, I bet he'll be back.
This is exactly what I think too. I just don't know how much time we should spend in a 4-3. Stay in the nickel and bring some guys up in the box

Fisher is a liability when he is in space. How about lining him up at the end and rushing the passer?? He is 6'6. faster than our DE's now. Tough to throw around a guy like that. Maybe he is out of position.

Just a thought.

The entire d-line and almost all LBs were a liability in space yesterday....did you see the game?

@touchdown tommie......Yes I saw the game. I was trying to make a point about fisher and him maybe lining up and providing more speed from the outside. Nothing more....nothing less. I thought the original post was about fisher.....not the d-line and lb's.

As for the defense yesterday......folks where in position, but didn't breakdown at the point of attack. first offensive play southern miss had....ciante evans took a horrible angle and got beat to the outside. That can be fixed.

Depends on what we're up against. Against Wisky, MSU, PSU and Iowa, we'll probably need some more LBs out there. If we had Haag or Gomes to throw at the Peso maybe it would be different but not with the players we have now.

I was just trying to make the point that with the exception of Stafford, the entire defense look terrible at the point of attack. It was extremely frustrating watching Cam try to arm tackle....

oh god...the arm tackling....I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Oh well..on to UCLA, who struggled with Rice

I agree 100%. It seems that Baker and Cam regress every year rather than progress. Both of these guys showed so much promise early on, but seem to be underachievers now.

Especially Cam. Slower than turtle and arm-tackling expertise. I heard he was enrolled Cassidy camp.

How about this? Changed from 4-3-4 to 0-0-11 scheme (DL-LB-DB). BTW, I didn't understand dime, nickel and peso means, please explain.

Yes, frustrating for S.Miss game. Or else on purpose ...... disguised......bait for UCLA coaches. Sneaky Bo.
