Give me a damn break. Texas looks like a fourth string girlscout troop right now, and we beat their asses last year before Terrance Nunn (a.k.a. Little Fumble) fum-dumbled the ball all over the damn turf. I expect nothing less than a two touchdown win at Texas, and as for Mizzery, their defense is even more horrid than ours. This game is our toughest test this season by FAR. To write off these chump opponents based on the performance of Carroll's SC squad is like losing to God in a chess match and then saying that the kid down the street with cerebral paulsy is going to whip your a$$.

have you seen our run defense? Army held WF to less than a hundred on the ground when we gave up 236 to them. USC was close to a hundred yards rushing on the FIRST drive. I mean i know their the mighty trojans but give me a break. problems have to be adressed on D or the only way we win games this year is in shootouts.

Are you serious? We're going to lose to an Okie State team that got blown out by TROY!? Not the Troy of USC, but the Trojans of our recent favorite punching bag, that school formerly known as Troy State?

I'd like to think we're a tad better than that.

I wouldn't be that confident about Texas, a road game against an opponent that has got to improve. But I think our offense will own the game against Missouri and Okie State.

I don't disagree with you there. Something's gotta be done, but to compare Texas' run game to that of SC is just asinine. We'll get a lot more penetration on D, too. That was basically the issue. We got blown back. I don't see that happening on the same level against UT this season. Maybe two touchdowns is a bit optimistic, but to think that they will walk over us is just stupid, not with the way they've played so far.

About Mizzou: it'll be a tough game, that's for sure. I'll admit, I haven't followed them much so far. Do they have a running game, or is Booger Daniel just dropping back every down? Because if they don't have a running game, I see no reason to be concerned.

About Texas: They should be 1-2 right now. The only win they earned was against TCU, and they had to fight for it. They are not worthy of their Top 10 ranking and I think Nebraska has a solid chance to beat them.

About Texas A&M: Now THIS one concerns me.

About Okie Lite: They seem to be the most overrated team in the Big 12 right now. 35-10 to Georgia, 42-23 to Troy . . . I don't know what to think of them just yet.

Quick, hit the panic button!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nebraska will not have any trouble with the teams that you listed. Mizzou is having trouble with teams that most people never heard of. Texas is having major trouble and Okie st? You have got to be kidding me? Kansas is the one we should all be worried about. They are blowing people out. Do a little research before you state you opionion like that. You sound like a damn ESPN analist.

The problem I see is that even against Wake Forest you could still see holes clearly they weren't the hole that semi could go through but they were there. If any team has any kind of run game were in a world of hurt.

I can vision another 7-7 season like 2002 since it looks like the same defense.

i think NU has a damn good chance of winning out the rest of the season. i mean we definitely were able to move the ball on SC, our d line just got blown up. As for texas? gimme a damn break that team should be ranked where we're currently at or worse, okie state makes way too many mistakes and mizzou doesnt seem to be playing as a team. im more worried about playing in lawrence than playing any of these other teams right now, i was at KU's first two games and made it to lincoln last night so ive been able to compare both teams. KU has a damn good defense that looks good against the run. and their special teams have been ridiculous so far
