LSU Les Miles $3.2 million
Arkansas Bobby Petrino $3 million (had signed at 24 mil, 5 year deal with Atlanta Falcons)
Auburn Tommy Tuberville $2.8 million
Ole Miss Houston Nutt $1.8 million
*--refers to estimated annual salary for 2008 season
with coaches getting big contracts and a wealth of talent in the SEC high school area, no wonder they are so successful. big money is hard to compete with and there is plenty of it in the SEC!
