Think he would bring his entire coaching staff?
Which is hilarious, because at least one coach on that staff has won a Super Bowl.
Think he would bring his entire coaching staff?
So now, in this article(click bate), Nebraska is dumped in wt Texas and FSU as the 3 programs crazy enough to hire Urb as their HC. Not a good take on Nebraska football.Think he would bring his entire coaching staff?
Nebraska
The Nebraska Cornhuskers have not had a winning season since 2016, when head coach Mike Riley led the team to a 9-4 record and a trip to the Music City Bowl. But after the program parted ways with Riley in 2017, they pivoted to make former Cornhuskers quarterback Scott Frost their new head coach. Frost had coached the Central Florida Knights to an undefeated season the year prior, but the success never translated to Nebraska.
Frost has not had a winning season with the Cornhuskers in his first four years. The most victories he picked up in a single campaign was five in 2019. Overall, he is 15-29 through four seasons.
Nebraska is a program that had make frequent appearances in the National Championship Game. Nine, to be exact. Their last appearance arrived in the 2002 Rose Bowl, where they lost to Miami. They have not reached that point ever since.
Frost and Nebraska agreed to terms on a restructured contract, that keeps him in Lincoln for at least the 2022 season. If things do not improve, Nebraska may very well be in the market for a new head coach.
Meyer does have a winning record at the college level, but would Nebraska want to take on all of the baggage that comes along with hiring him? That remains to be seen.

If anywhere at all. Maybe this time he'll finally just retire for good. But that probably depends on how much time his wife actually wants to spend with him...
