Ha ha! Bob Stoops nearly got crucified for saying this last year. Even though he was right!

#2 I keep hearing this but I must admit the SEC programs as a whole are very passionate and invest big dollars in coaching, facilities and recruiting. Couple this with the fact they have lower admissions standards, over sign and located in the heart of the African American population in the US I just don't see any conference being able to put 3-4 teams in the top 10 every year.

#6 How many times do you hear the media say Team XYZ has an "SEC-type defense"? LSU, Alabalama and occasionally SCar/UGa/UF have any defense worth mentioning.

The fact the media compares other teams to the SEC is BS. FSU started its comeback against Auburn and all of a sudden "FSU is playing like an SEC team". The frig? Only SEC teams can beat SEC teams or only teams that play like SEC teams? Thats a crock of media crap.

I watched a replay last night of the outback bowl from only ten years ago in which Iowa-yes Iowa- completely demolished Florida for 4 quarters. It's cyclical folks. Always has been.
