Shawn Livingston's Knee

That sucks for him. I hope that he can bounce back from this next year, as I thought he was going to be pretty good player in the league.

They showed his career so far. He has missed 15+ games each of his first 3 seasons. Last year (or maybe it was 2 years ago) he dislocated his right knee in a similar way. In that one he did not tear ligaments or anything....but it was still the same injury on both knees.

I'm sure it's tough for a pro athlete to give up his 'job' but when it's time to hang up the sneakers....

It looks like Livingston may not play next year after they found out that he tore 3 ligaments in his knee. He also disclocated his patella tendon.

Geez......I tore all 4 of mine (and my meniscus) this last summer and his looked a lot worse than mine did. Playing slow pitch softball no less.
Holy hell I think I would ask for someone to kill me!!!! :hellloooo

Ha! The video is no longer on youtube or google because NBA has filed copyright title to the video.

I thought about it. Ya know how most people say they heard a loud pop when they blow out their knee? Well mine sounded like bubble wrap.

No offense. I'm all for hearing 'war stories' but I'm pretty sure that Livingston's sounded, felt, looked and ended up a helluva lot worse than yours.

Well yea....I agree. I was just wondering how he didnt tear all 4 ligaments, because I know mine bent in the same way (but not quite as violently). I didn't mean to turn it into a "war story".
