Shawn Watson Texas OC?

It will happen. And it's glorious.

sips thought they were going to throw money at Chad Morris from Clemson.

Strong is not starting well....and I love it.
5.2 Million buyout for someone that's going to become a head coach somewhere else soon? Doesn't seem terribly smart financially.

Decision expected today. Supposedly it was to be either Watson or Tom Herman from tOSU. But now it sounds like Herman isn't leaving so Watson it is (probably).

Makes sense. Watson has OC'd both Texas and OU to Big 12 Championship game wins over Nebraska.

Nothing has been said yet about the OC position but Strong is putting together a pretty good staff so far.

Vance Bedford - DC

Chris Rumph - DL

Bryan Jean-Mary - LB

Tommy Robinson - RB

Bruce Chambers - TE

Joe Wickline - OL

From OC to Qb coach. Sounds like a guy who is taking a step down on the ladder. Maybe should have been a QB coach all along. If this is true, I think it's a hilarious slap in the face to all the Watson jockeys.

I would guess they'll put a staff together then decided on the OC. Not uncommon - and most schools have their OC be the QB coach. But someone odd considering the already was your OC - assuming that is correct, the report could have left out the OC part.

Would going from Vice President of Denmark (or whatever their second in command is) to being the Sec. of State for the US be a step down the ladder?

If you hold Texas in that high regard, it sounds like more your problem than mine.

I dont. I hold Texas in regards of dog sh#t in a rain storm. And you know, I hold our government in that regards most times too.

.

I was making that comparison as a matter of perception. Regardless of what we Husker fans think, Texas is still viewed as college football loyalty. And it makes me wanna puke.
