Looks like aTm is already done with their coaching search: Mike Sherman (former HC of Green Bay Packers) will be announced this morning.

Maybe we should try a former NFL coach...ohh wait.

 
Some where underwhelmed. Most potbangers put them away after the PC. Most of the people I've spoken to now are pretty stoked.

And if you think the search only lasted 72 hours, you need to put down the crack pipe. Bill Byrne was searching LONG ago.

No offense to you but this is avg hire at best.

 
Most people thought Pete Carroll was a stupid move.

Most Ags thought Fran was a slam dunk.

The fact is nobody knows, but what we do know is Byrne's track record of Pat Henry, Mark Turgeon, Billy Gillispie, and Rob Childress have all been amazing hires. With the money to bring in some badass assistants, Sherman could be a great think for A&M, and I firmly believe he will be.

 
I think Sherman ws a good choice for aTm. He is a good coach. I liked him when he was with the Packers.
