I'm going out on a limb here and saying that neither Yuengling nor Blue Moon are very good beers. Yuengling is tolerable but Blue Moon is pretty much crap anymore. It was better when first introduced but something has changed with it. There are so many much better options out there....

I guess I'm a beer snob along with ZRod.

Then we're on different ends of the snob scale... Yuengling is delicious! Although I like their Black and Tan much more than the Lager. Also, Bluemoon is one of my go-to's. Though, it does taste a bit off from what I remeber nack in the day. Here in MI though, I usually get Oberon since it's the local "bluemoon".
As far as Alt beers go, Alaskan Amber is far superior to Zipline. Much smoother and a slight creaminess to go with it's malty tatse. I could drink that stuff all day long.

Alaskan Amber sounds like a porn name.
Have you tasted it though?

Do they sell it in Lincoln? If it's better than Zipline, I'll definitely give it a shot.

I'll run over to N Street and see if they have any.

I would still like to know what Pintrest board told you that drinking tap Blue Moon out of a mason jar somehow enhances it's taste.

I don't think they do. Their website shows them selling all in CO, WY, SD, and IA but not Nebraska. Shame...

To be fair, the time I tried Yuengling it was after I'd had a couple very hoppy IPA's. I may not have given it a fair chance. I used to like Blue Moon but the last few times I've had it was just nasty. But I do think there are many better options for either of these. I do like the Alaskan Amber and, in your neck of the woods, most of Bell's brews. Oberon, Two Hearted, Oatsmobile...all very good. There's so many good micro's around here I just don't have the time for most widely distributed beers. A few of my default staples are Sam Adams Boston lager & Octoberfest, New Belgium Fat Tire and Odells 90 Schilling. Can't go wrong with those.
