Should have played Ganz earlier

You're crazy...

Keller played LIGHTSOUT!!

He didnt make any mistakes all game and in my opinion the fumble wasnt his fault, the offensive line let the longhorns through.

Yeah i think Ganz looked really good and I am a huge fan of Joe Ganz but hindsight is always 20/20 and there was no reason whatsoever to pull Keller out of the game at any point.

Unfortunately Keller is probably done for the year. Looked to me to be a broken left collarbone the way he was holding his arm and how they wrapped it up on the sideline. Pure speculation though, cause i really hope he's not done for the year.

If Keller is out I have full faith in Ganz though, so at least there is no worries there.
Keller played okay but not "lightsout". Grounding? Balls thrown behind receivers?

A agree though, Ganz is more than capable of taking over if Keller remains injured for the next game or the rest of the year.
If you paid attention you would know that grounding penalty was BS. Keller knew where he was.

Perhaps YOU should have paid attention wise guy....he did not throw the ball beyond the line of scrimage....thus a grounding penalty. Also, a simple response would do instead of your smart a$$ comment.

He's good, but he holds onto the ball way too long. And then the grounding penalty, just throw it out of bounds with his armstrength. He didn't have that great of a game. We needed a spark, 4 possessions with no points. TO put Berringer in for Frazier in the NC game to give the offense a spark.
You realize the grounding penalty was bullsh#t right? They showed the replay and he was CLEARLY outside of the tackles. Also 23/35 for 299YDS 2TD and 0 INTs isnt that good of a game? Give me a break. Keller had a good game. Don't throw the stallmate of the offense on Kellers shoulders. Its not completely his fault.
Actually they called it grounding because it didn't go past the line of scrimmage. ;)

What in the hell do you have to complain about re: Keller?

Was it the 65% completion rate?

Or the 2 TDs?

Or the almost 300 yards?

Or the ZERO picks?

Ganz should have played earlier? Huh?

None of those, most importantly, it was the loss. Or the fumble, Or the 4 possessions with no points.

Sometimes even when a player plays a great game, 1 or 2 bad plays can overshadow their performance. He should've known where the line of scrimmage was when he threw the ball in the ground.

You are an idiot. It's all Keller's fault that a 300-lb lineman got into the backfield? And you really think that Ganz would have led us to scoring drives on each freakin' series?

:rollin

Yeah, and Tom Brady should be completing every single pass he throws. Give me a break.

This is idiocy...

Just keep drinking the kool-aid and calling names. I guess moral and statistical victories are ok with you.

I thought Keller played pretty well.. AS far as him holding onto the ball to long...thats what a pocket passer does if he has good protection. The fumble wasn't all his fault but his side arm throwing didnt help.

If you've read this blog for any period of time, you know I'm no Kool-Aid drinker. Ask Foppa or newearth.

But I'm not unrealistic, and I'm not stupid. Keller was the least of our problems today. I don't see how any rational human being can look at Keller's performance and think he should not have been under center.

If you want to get pissed, get pissed at Cosgrove and his failure to make adjustments with the blitz packages. Or get pissed with the defensive line. Or get pissed that BC's dink-and-dunk passing game doesn't work.

But you are drinking something other than Kool-aid if you think Keller should have been benched.

Keller played a great game and was named player of the game for NU.

i agree. ganz played well when he came in, but Keller was in the game all the way. we are playing the right guy, alhtough Ganz will be harder to deny next year and his scrambling ability may just fit in well with a new OC scheme and play calling. i think the guy may well show up next year and be a factor. he is a smart kid.
