Should we fire Satterfield??

WTF. Does Satt ride the short bus?  OMG paid a LOT and hasn't figured out in the B10 you need a run game.  Has no idea what a good app is 🤦‍♂️. We are completely Fred

I wasn't a fan but Rhule should see this press conference and fire him for having zero clue on what is needed in his job IMO
Im guessing it comes before the next bye week.

Sucks that Mickey got himself mixed up with a fuggin psycho or he’d be our head coach on a budget.

No bus.  He walks....Here is some more stellar comments from Mr $1.4 Million in the same interview: How can be have been in football this long and an OC in FBS going on 8 seasons......

That concern wasn't alleviated just a couple minutes later when Satterfield was asked what he's targeting for yards per play.

"Between four and six," Satterfield said. "I honestly don't even know what leads the country on yards per play."

Four yards per play would be last in the nation. Six yards per play would be 57th in the nation. Nebraska's current 5.54 yards per play is 89th.

Good lord the more I hear about this dude makes me start to lose respect for Rhule for hiring this guy.

He's making $1.4 million/year.  This puts him in a group of OC's listed as the 6th highest in college football

He's only Co-OC though.  That means we're paying $2.2 million with Thomas' salary added in which becomes #1 on the list.   That is absurd for the 88th ranked total offense,  and 90th ranked scoring offense.

Go offer the best guy on that list who needs a raise, $1.8 mill and let's go.  Should be a significant upgrade at a $400k discount for other assistants.

Here's how my questions to Rhule would be in the next presser.  Seriously:

"Coach, how has practice been this week?  Both sides of the ball looking ready for a big challenge?"

*Rhule with a buttoned up, energetic and familiar type answer

"Were you able to listen in on Satterfield's press conference this week?"

*Rhule's taken aback and his words can't catch up with his mind

"Coach, Marcus didn't know what acceptable, or NCAA-leading, yards-per-play metrics were.  He also mentioned he, just now,  believes running the ball in the B!G is key.  Coach, didn't you say you wanted to be team that is tough and dominate other teams at the LOS?"

*Rhule isn't happy with me but trying to be politically correct.  I let him ramble a bit.

"Coach, what are your conversations like with Marcus day-to-day?  Do you feel you both are on the same page?  Shouldn't he have known your strategy by now?  Do you guys talk after games?"

*Press pass is taken and I'm escorted out

Didn’t even think about that.  Hired another guy to help him and it hasn’t.  TE play has also been regressing imho.
