a lot of huskers feeling down today. How about a quick shout-out to Burkhead. The guy is a stud and basically took this team on his shoulders for the last 4 games. The guy is young and may end up being in the conversation with some of the best. His guts and tough play make me feel good about the future. The thought of a healthy Martinez and Rex 1-2 years older makes me think that this tough/fast tandem will be a huge problem for the Big10(+2).

Lol speaking of qb, let the kid use his arm. That ball he threw to Taylor was a dart and incredibly accurate. I'd he has time to plant and throw that is 6, Taylor had his guy beat.

I agree with all of that, good stuff. :yeah It's nice to hear Burkheads a nice guy off of the field as well in today's football landscape full of prima donna's. Broekemeier played fantastic as well. Wish him and the rest nothing but the best for the upcoming bowl game and next year. And if no one's said it, thanks to all of the Big Red team for your efforts.
