The most interesting thing I got out of it is that he had given Solich his word that he would retire by a certain time and that is why he stepped down. From the article you get the sense that he may not have wanted to do it at that time and now regrets it

 
Hey if any of you guys get a chacne read that article. It's in ESPN the Mag. I really get the feeling TO really misses the game. He likes what he's doing now but he still loves nothing more than Saturday mornings. I almost get the feeling he regrets his decision. Anyone else
