SI ranks the top 5 losses of the Rhule era at Nebraska

I read that article and I don't recommend it, particularly reading it after a loss. 😂

Last Friday night feels like the worst of the lot to me but that's probably because it's the most recent.

I still like these '25 Huskers. I think we'll secure that 6th win at Northwestern and maybe shock the world once or twice in November.

We'll likely get a 6th win. Trying to guess who we'll beat for that win is something I guess I'll stay away from, though. I'd like it to be Iowa.

As far as the (hopefully inevitable) bowl game goes... same deal. Who? W or L?
 
Yet people still think PSU is going to hire Rhule? The dude is not going anywhere. This weekend was awful but we need to flush the game and this week’s distractions. Keep building, lots of season left.

Maybe that's why we played the worst game of the season. Current HC thought (right or wrong) this was his audition for the PSU job. First game since Franklin was fired, he was the Vegas "best bet", go on the road and be the 1st B2B road win since 2006, beat Minny (previously 0-5), the "surrender whites" (yes, athletes/coaches are superstitious and I think this is in their heads *It was in mine :D), and win in a "short week". Poor record against ranked teams, but that's a lot of monkeys off NU's back in one fell swoop. A great "look at me game". Maybe he was tight and stressed....Maybe the team picked up on this and crapped the bed. Maybe it impacted Rhule's attention to the game and wasn't 100% focused and then when it got away, it was too late. He talked about the team practicing great all week and he didn't see this coming. Maybe so focused on the "what ifs" of PSU he wasn't aware. And I am pretty sure the whole team was amped up/concerned/worried as well. And might have been trying to hard as well for the same reasons....Who knows. Odd that we got the sh!t kicked out of us with all of the outside noise. We were also finally ranked. A lot more pressure to"stay good" vs "get good". End of my psycho analysis....
