Maybe SC isn't recruiting him quite as hard, but we know better than anyone how important depth is important in DT/DE. I don't think they would turn him away. If he wants to go there, they'll find room.

SCar also appears to be high on the list of local four-star DT prospect Poona Ford. He's set to announce his decision on August 6th. If they get another DT commit, I would think Newell would be looking elsewhere. Here's hoping.

Now there's a run of predictions on the Crystal Ball that say Poona is going the Louisville route so perhaps his decision is already made.

Still think we get Newell, though.
