RB/FB or a linebacker

I've read both, but on a TX Nike camp 1 on 1 (RB's vs. LB's) on the Rivals site, it shows clips of him playing LB.

Why waste a scholly on a FB???? There didn't seem to be a place on Watson's offense for one.
