No. Since Witt is a high school senior, he cannot sign until the official LOI day. He is enrolled at UNL, though.

doesnt make alot of sense not to be able to sign a LOI until Feb, even though you are already enrolled and attending classes at the university that you will be signing the LOI to attend and play football for in the future

This could be a stupid question, but if a player is enrolled in a school (like Witt) and has not signed a LOI to play football, could he leave at the end of the semester and go somewhere else to play football without sitting out a year?
